When we are in self-denial, especially around our business goals we are playing small. We are living life in mid-range neutral. Getting up to speed and then idling back into neutral again. Does this ring a bell?
Over the years of doing this myself, I had convinced myself that I was not really good at business. I was more of a creative sort, the writer, the creator of programs etc. Any excuse to gloss over what I was really in denial about.
I live my life attuned to subtle clues around me. I like being in the flow and allowing inspiration to tap me on the shoulder and when the flow is interrupted or having down-time. I stop, identify what may be sabotaging me or my creativity and address that, using my own processes (cause I spend a lot of time creating lol)
Therefore yesterday when I was guided to go to one of my books, and use it like an oracle (holding the book in my hands and allowing it to guide me to a certain page) – which was Denial. I was a tad nonplussed. However, I have learnt to follow the trail. I began writing a blog around Denial, however the work I was referencing was longer than required, so I decided to break it into two sections. It was at the end of part 1 – that it grabbed me by the short and curly’s and I realised I needed to workshop this. I had woken feeling off-par and yet checking in with my feelings, emotions etc did not raise one issue.
It was not till I sat down and posed the question (on paper). That the suppressed emotions surfaced.
Q: What is it – that I am in denial of.
I then made a list of all the things I could be in denial about, but was not acknowledging yet. I came up with 32 different options.
I then used my pendulum to go down and give me a NEC (Negative Emotional Charge) on each one. 1 – 10. That highlighted the No. 1 priority issue. In this case there were two.
Then I made a heading of those two issues. IE: Success and attracting in the right business partner. Now I have the ‘Living Brilliantly’ program to I went to that and intuitively selected the core Transformation Accelerator that was underpinning the denial around success in business. It came up ‘Unity/sabotage (not surprises there) However, this did not tell me was the Root Cause, so back to the program. It turned out to be – I was in denial of my ‘Infinite Wisdom’ that originated from a core wound around ‘Giving and Receiving’. From that information I was able to do a deep healing.
Now if you don’t have you own copy of the ‘Living Brilliantly’ program then you will need to use what you have. You can use a book of affirmations, oracle cards etc. However, this may only provide you with surface information … and I am a great believer in getting to the absolute core of stuff and if it feels right for you then you might like to do a session with me.
Which ever way you choose to address this denial just do it – it is liberating when we release our core wounds that hold us captive and continue to sabotage our dreams, goals and in this case our business success. Just find a way and do it today.
